One of the things I truly enjoy is riding my motorcycle to this spot so I can view the Rappahannock River.  To me, water is always tranquil and truly soothes the soul.  The river is truly alive and it is a reminder that we are just a small part of a much bigger world that is at work around us.  Although I feel like the Rappahannock tends to get abused with people leaving trash and just not taking care of it, it’s still a great spot to relax and explore.  If you look in the distance, you can see the snow and ice still rolling down the river from the snow storms we encountered this year in Virginia.  You may ask yourself, “Why would you ride a motorcycle when it is cold out?”  Honestly, it is an amazing experience.  Although sometimes it is a bit uncomfortable, you truly feel ALIVE!  But don’t worry, I get my fair share of Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts coffee to keep me warm!!
